Qigong in the Park


Tuesday Mornings at 9 am - 10:15 am The practice of Spring Forest Qigong is so simple that it can be done at any age and with any physical capability. In fact, the movements can be done sitting, standing or lying down! It requires no equipment and oftentimes, improved physical and emotional well-being is experienced within the first few classes. Spring Forest Qigong is a practice based upon the foundation of ancient Chinese Mind-Body Wellness approach, consisting of four (4) elements: 1. Simple, slow movements 2. Breathing 3. Visualization 4. Meditation Attendees have shared that the experience gives them a sense of emotional wellness and develops a deep sense of peace and calm. Qigong in the Park meets in winter at Nanton Quality of Life and weather permitting at the park behind Community Centre in Nanton, AB Class Fee is by donation (from $1 to $10)
